Role Description The Data Management Director is a full-time remote role responsible for leading the club’s data strategy and ensuring that information is accurate, secure, and effectively used to support decision-making. Day-to-day tasks include designing and maintaining data governance frameworks, defining data standards, and overseeing data quality controls for member information, event metrics, and financial education resources. The role involves coordinating data collection processes, monitoring data integrity, and creating reports and dashboards that provide insights into engagement, performance, and growth opportunities. The Data Management Director collaborates with leadership and functional teams to align data initiatives with club objectives and supports training on data best practices for other members. This position also recommends tools, methodologies, and improvements to enhance data management and analytics capabilities across the organization.
Qualifications
Strong Data Management and Clinical Data Management skills, with experience designing and overseeing structured data processes.
Knowledge of Data Governance and Data Quality practices, including standards, controls, and compliance-oriented approaches.
Proficient Analytical Skills, with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and present findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with databases, spreadsheets, or analytics tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, BI tools) and comfort working in digital, remote environments.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and cultures.
Strong organizational and project management abilities, including prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a remote setting.
Background or coursework in finance, business, data science, or a related field is beneficial; prior experience in student organizations or clubs is a plus.
