Role Description The Senior Executive Vice President role at Saffar.pk is a full-time remote position responsible for leading overall strategy, operations, and growth of the platform. Day-to-day work includes shaping editorial and business priorities, overseeing content and product initiatives, and guiding senior leaders across departments such as editorial, marketing, partnerships, and technology. The role involves setting performance targets, monitoring key metrics, and ensuring that all teams deliver high-quality business and market news aligned with the organization’s mission. The Senior Executive Vice President will manage stakeholder relationships, identify new revenue opportunities, and support fundraising or partnership initiatives as needed. This position requires proactive decision-making, cross-functional collaboration, and consistent communication with the leadership team and board.
Qualifications
Proven senior executive leadership experience in media, digital content, or related business-focused organizations.
Strong background in business, markets, startups, and economic or corporate news, with the ability to oversee editorial direction at a strategic level.
Experience in strategy development, operational management, and scaling digital platforms or products.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, including working with investors, partners, and cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated ability to analyze performance data, set measurable goals, and drive continuous improvement across departments.
Comfort working in a remote environment, with strong organizational skills and the ability to lead distributed teams.
Advanced degree or equivalent experience in Business, Economics, Management, Journalism, or a related field is preferred.
