Role Description The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Saffar.pk is a full-time, remote role responsible for leading all financial strategy and operations. This position oversees budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning to support sustainable growth and platform development. The CFO manages financial reporting cycles, prepares and reviews financial statements, and ensures compliance with applicable standards and regulations. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring cash flow, analyzing key financial metrics, advising leadership on investment and funding decisions, and developing policies for cost control and resource allocation. The role collaborates closely with the executive team to align financial strategies with business objectives and to support data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Finance, with demonstrated experience leading financial strategy and operations.
Proficiency in Financial Planning and budgeting, including forecasting and scenario analysis.
Hands-on experience preparing, reviewing, and interpreting Financial Statements and Financial Reporting.
Advanced Analytical Skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations.
Experience in digital media, technology, or startup environments is beneficial.
Knowledge of relevant accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and compliance practices.
Proven leadership skills, including team management, stakeholder communication, and cross-functional collaboration.
Relevant academic background in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) are a plus.
