Role Description The Academic Counselor is a full-time, on-site role based in Noida, responsible for guiding students through their academic journeys and helping them make informed educational and career decisions. Daily tasks include conducting one-on-one counseling sessions, assessing students’ academic performance and interests, and developing individualized academic plans. The role involves providing information on courses, programs, and institutions, as well as organizing workshops or group sessions on study skills, career pathways, and educational opportunities. The Academic Counselor will collaborate with faculty and administrative teams, maintain accurate student records, and regularly communicate with parents or guardians, while ensuring a supportive, inclusive environment for all learners.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Student Counseling and Academic Advising skills to support learners with academic planning and decision-making.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to interact clearly with students, families, and colleagues.
Candidates should possess Career Counseling skills to guide students in exploring career options and aligning study plans with career goals.
Candidates should possess a solid background in Education to understand curricula, learning outcomes, and academic policies.
Relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
Ability to maintain confidentiality, demonstrate empathy, and work with diverse student populations.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with basic computer and student management systems.
Previous experience in academic counseling, school counseling, or student advisory roles is preferred.
