About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Hospitality Systems & Automation Engineer to work directly alongside our Channel Management Specialist.
Your role is to build the technical layer behind our short-term rental operations — connecting properties, booking channels, guest journeys, maintenance, pricing, access systems and internal workflows into one operational ecosystem.
What You’ll Build
* Integrations between Airbnb, Booking.com, PMS and channel-management systems.
* API and webhook integrations between operational platforms.
* Automated guest communication and operational workflows.
* Smart-lock and property-access integrations.
* Maintenance and housekeeping triggers based on reservations and property events.
* Internal dashboards for occupancy, pricing, property performance and operational issues.
* Automated alerts for failed payments, booking conflicts, maintenance requirements and unusual property events.
* Integration of smart-property devices and IoT data where applicable.
* Lightweight internal tools that reduce manual work for the operations team.
* A scalable technical architecture capable of supporting multiple properties and, eventually, multiple owners.
Technical Profile
We are looking for someone comfortable with APIs, webhooks, databases, automation platforms and backend development. Experience with Python or JavaScript/TypeScript, REST APIs, PostgreSQL, cloud services and tools such as n8n, Make or Zapier is highly relevant.
Experience with PMS, channel managers, Airbnb/Booking.com integrations, PropTech, Hospitality Tech or IoT is a major advantage.
How the Team Works
The Channel Management Specialist owns the commercial and operational logic: inventory, channels, reservations, pricing implementation and property workflows.
You own the technical execution: integrations, automation, data flows, dashboards and system reliability.
Together, the objective is not simply to manage listings. It is to gradually build the operating system behind the properties.
