About The Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Associate to join our team. This role is integral to supporting the daily operations of our Human Resources department and ensuring a seamless employee lifecycle experience. The successful candidate will handle a variety of HR functions, including recruiting, onboarding, employee records management, benefits administration, and employee engagement initiatives. This position serves as a vital resource for both employees and managers, promoting consistent HR practices, maintaining accurate documentation, and fostering a positive workplace culture. The HR Associate will play a key role in enhancing employee satisfaction, supporting organizational goals, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies.
Qualifications
Previous experience in Human Resources, ideally in a generalist and recruiting capacity.
Proven experience with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, employee documentation, benefits administration, and employee relations.
Familiarity with job posting platforms and staffing agency collaborations is preferred.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and meet deadlines consistently.
Discretion and professionalism in handling confidential and sensitive information.
Working knowledge of applicable employment laws and HR best practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR/payroll systems.
Responsibilities
The HR Associate will be responsible for a broad range of duties to support the HR department, including but not limited to:
Recruiting & Staffing: Manage the full-cycle recruiting process, from job posting to hiring. Screen applicants, conduct initial interviews, coordinate with hiring managers for final interviews, and manage relationships with staffing agencies. Handle offers, pre-employment requirements, and maintain recruiting records.
New-Hire Onboarding: Coordinate onboarding activities from offer acceptance through orientation. Prepare onboarding documentation, facilitate orientation sessions, and partner with managers to ensure new employees are well-prepared for their first day and successful integration into the team.
Employee Records & Benefits: Maintain confidential personnel files, process employee status changes, and assist with benefits enrollment, qualifying life events, and open enrollment periods. Liaise with benefit providers to resolve employee inquiries and ensure accurate benefits administration.
Training & Development: Coordinate and monitor employee and management training programs. Maintain comprehensive training records and support initiatives aimed at employee growth and development.
Employee Relations & Engagement: Act as a point of contact for employee questions, workplace concerns, and policy clarifications. Support management with performance management, coaching, and corrective actions. Organize employee recognition, engagement, retention activities, and conduct stay-interviews and exit interviews to gather feedback and improve workplace culture.
Throughout all responsibilities, the HR Associate will ensure compliance with applicable laws and uphold the company's values and standards, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
