1. About Our Client:
The organization operates within the technology and software services sector, focusing on enabling efficient work management through Atlassian Cloud platforms. It addresses challenges related to workflow standardization, automation, and real-time operational visibility across multiple teams and departments. By leveraging Atlassian Cloud tools, the organization supports seamless collaboration and operational efficiency on a growing scale.
2. About the Opportunity:
The Atlassian System Administrator is responsible for managing and evolving the organization's Atlassian Cloud environment. This role ensures the platform supports cross-functional workflows effectively, reduces manual effort through automation, and provides leadership with real-time insights. The position is key to optimizing how teams plan, track, and execute work, thereby enhancing overall organizational productivity.
3. Responsibilities:
Administer the full Atlassian Cloud stack including Jira Cloud, Confluence Cloud, and Atlassian Guard/Access.
Configure and maintain projects, workflows, permission schemes, and other Jira Cloud components.
Manage user provisioning, roles, access, and license allocation.
Maintain Confluence spaces, templates, permissions, and governance.
Oversee Jira Service Management queues, SLAs, portals, and approval flows.
Design and maintain automation rules and workflows to reduce manual work.
Build and maintain integrations between Atlassian Cloud and other business systems.
Evaluate, install, and govern Atlassian Marketplace apps.
Develop dashboards and reporting tools for real-time visibility.
Collaborate with departments to optimize workflows and establish standards.
Ensure compliance with security and data governance standards.
Serve as an escalation point for platform risks and incidents.
Maintain documentation, SOPs, and best-practice guides.
Promote platform adoption and operational maturity.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
4. Requirements:
Minimum 3 years experience administering Atlassian Cloud environments.
Deep knowledge of Jira Cloud configuration and administration.
Experience with Jira Cloud Automation and Jira Service Management.
Proficiency in managing Atlassian Cloud organization settings including SSO and user provisioning.
Technical skills with JQL, REST APIs, webhooks, and low-code integration tools.
Experience with Atlassian Marketplace app governance.
Strong process design and workflow optimization skills.
Understanding of SaaS security, privacy, and compliance practices.
Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred certifications: ACP-120, ACP-420, ACP-620 or equivalent.
Preferred experience with ScriptRunner, Forge/Connect app development, or Atlassian Analytics.
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
The pay range and compensation package for this role will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills, and other relevant factors.
