THE OPPORTUNITY
The Technician – Level 1 prepares vacant apartment homes for new residents by completing repairs, installations, and inspections. This role ensures all units meet company standards by addressing maintenance needs and supporting the maintenance team as needed. Their work directly impacts resident satisfaction and property appeal.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare vacant apartments for new residents by completing repairs, cleaning, and ensuring all features are in working order per our Total Quality Make Ready (TQMR) program.
Perform basic maintenance tasks, including light fixture replacements, minor plumbing repairs, appliance checks, and drywall patching.
Assist with painting, carpet cleaning, and exterior touch-ups to meet market-ready standards. Maintain inventory, report supply needs, and support the maintenance team with work orders and groundskeeping as needed.
Maintain the cleanliness and curb appeal of the property, including grounds, parking lots, breezeways, amenities, and common areas.
Work independently while following company standards, demonstrating attention to detail, and maintaining a commitment to resident satisfaction.
