Role Description The Vice President of Operations Planning at Banco Coopnacional is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing operational strategy and execution across the organization. This position leads the planning and optimization of processes, ensuring alignment with business goals, regulatory requirements, and service standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and refining operational plans, monitoring performance metrics, managing budgets and P&L impact, and coordinating cross-functional projects to improve efficiency and customer experience. The role collaborates closely with senior leadership to define strategic priorities, guides project teams through implementation, and resolves operational risks or bottlenecks. The Vice President also mentors leaders within the operations function, promotes a culture of continuous improvement, and ensures clear communication of priorities and progress to stakeholders.
Qualifications
Demonstrated expertise in Operations Management, including process optimization, resource allocation, and performance measurement.
Strong experience in P&L Management, financial analysis, and budget oversight to support data-driven decision-making.
Proficiency in Customer Service leadership, with a track record of improving service quality, satisfaction, and operational responsiveness.
Advanced Strategic Planning skills, including long-term roadmap development, risk assessment, and execution oversight.
Solid Project Management capabilities, with experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives from planning through completion.
Proven leadership experience in banking, financial services, or a related industry preferred.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, managing distributed teams and collaborating across time zones.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations, or related field; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is an advantage.
Familiarity with regulatory frameworks, compliance standards, and risk management practices in financial services.
