Role Description The Site Civil Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Vadodara, responsible for overseeing day-to-day civil construction activities at project sites. Responsibilities include supervising site work, ensuring compliance with engineering designs and specifications, coordinating with project managers, contractors, and vendors, and monitoring quality, safety, and timelines. The role involves reviewing drawings, supporting planning and scheduling, inspecting materials and workmanship, and resolving technical issues that arise during execution. The Site Civil Engineer will contribute to progress reporting, documentation, and adherence to regulatory and company standards, helping ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Qualifications
Civil Engineering fundamentals, including Civil Engineering Design and general Civil Engineering principles.
Experience working as part of a Civil Engineers team on site-based projects.
Planning and project coordination skills for managing schedules, resources, and site activities.
Knowledge of Stormwater Management, drainage systems, and related infrastructure design and execution.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
Practical experience in building construction or infrastructure projects, preferably in industrial, residential, or commercial sectors.
Strong understanding of construction safety practices, quality standards, and local building codes.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and reports, with effective communication and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in basic engineering and office software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Office) and willingness to work full time on site in Vadodara.
