About the Opportunity:
The LIEN NEGOTIATOR plays a crucial role in maximizing client recoveries by negotiating post-settlement liens, including those related to health insurance and medical providers. This position directly impacts case finalization and client satisfaction by ensuring efficient resolution of financial claims against settlements.
Responsibilities:
Negotiate post-settlement liens such as health insurance, hospital, private medical provider, and state and federal medical provider liens
Finalize cases to secure the best possible recovery for clients
Keep clients regularly informed about case progress
Provide status updates to medical providers
Draft lien reduction letters
Obtain final medical balances at settlement
Assemble, organize, and itemize client medical bills
Communicate with Medi-Cal and Medicare programs
Requirements:
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
Strong attention to detail
Maintain a professional demeanor in all communications
Ability to meet deadlines and quotas
Capability to multitask effectively
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Knowledge of Internet software, spreadsheet, and word processing software
Pay Range and Compensation Package:
$24.00/hour to $28.00/hour
