About the Opportunity:
The JUNIOR AI ENGINEER role focuses on building practical AI tools and automations to improve internal workflows across marketing, research, and operations. This position contributes by designing, implementing, and refining language model-based solutions that support key business needs. The role is essential in integrating AI capabilities into daily processes, enhancing efficiency, and enabling data-driven decision-making.
Responsibilities:
Develop tools, automations, and applications to support marketing, research, and workflow optimization.
Design, test, and enhance language model workflows for classification, summarization, extraction, generation, and search support.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable AI solutions.
Create Python-based services, APIs, and internal tools integrating AI into daily workflows.
Optimize system performance for quality, speed, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
Identify and address edge cases to improve system behavior and establish AI development best practices.
Stay informed on AI advancements and evaluate new tools and methods.
Requirements:
Prior internship experience in software engineering with hands-on experience in building LLM-based or applied AI workflows.
Strong proficiency in Python and a practical approach to developing reliable and responsible solutions.
Familiarity with agentic coding tools such as Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, or Cursor.
Ability to interpret stakeholder needs and translate them into effective solutions.
Comfort with handling diverse projects and solving ambiguous problems.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical partners.
Pay Range and Compensation Package:
The salary range for this position is $110,000 to $135,000.
Eligibility for an annual profit award or bonus, subject to company results.
