About the Opportunity:
The JUNIOR DATA ANALYST role supports the Integrated Healthcare Transformation initiative by extracting, analyzing, and interpreting data to inform decision-making. This position contributes to the organization's mission by providing data-driven insights that influence operational and strategic outcomes, enabling better healthcare services for veterans.
Responsibilities:
Extract and analyze data using advanced algorithms and models to identify trends
Develop data visualizations to communicate complex patterns effectively
Present findings and recommendations to management
Support business model development and optimization through data insights
Collaborate with stakeholders to align data analysis with project goals
Prepare data-driven reports and presentations for diverse audiences
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Public Health, Business, or related field
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a data analyst or similar role
Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Pyramid Analytics
Strong understanding of data modeling and trend analysis
Experience interpreting and communicating data to varied audiences
Familiarity with querying and analyzing large datasets using SQL or comparable tools
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with VA information systems and healthcare data
Knowledge of VA-related healthcare terminology
Exposure to statistical programming languages such as Python or R
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Previous experience supporting government or federal health IT projects
Eligibility:
Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
Ability to obtain and maintain required federal public trust clearance
Pay Range and Compensation Package:
Salary range: $70,000 to $100,000, determined by location, experience, skills, and organizational requirements
