User Experience Engineer

Role Description The User Experience Engineer will design and implement intuitive, accessible interfaces for EarthTech-AI’s geospatial intelligence products. In this full-time remote role, responsibilities include translating user needs and business requirements into wireframes, prototypes, and production-ready interfaces, while collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and software engineers. The role involves conducting user research, usability testing, and iterative improvements to ensure products are easy to use and visually consistent. The User Experience Engineer will also contribute to front-end development, refine interaction patterns, and help maintain design systems and component libraries to deliver cohesive user experiences across platforms.
Qualifications
Strong user experience skills, including User Experience (UX) and User Experience Design (UED), with a focus on usability, accessibility, and interaction design.
Front-End Development experience using modern web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and common frameworks) to implement designs in production environments.
Visual Design capabilities to create clear layouts, consistent typography, and effective use of color and iconography aligned with brand and product goals.
Software Development fundamentals, including version control, code quality practices, and collaboration with engineering teams in agile or similar workflows.
Experience conducting user research and usability testing, and translating findings into actionable design improvements.
Ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional team, with strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
Familiarity with geospatial tools, mapping interfaces, or data visualization is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Design, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
