Role Description The VP of Project Operations is a full-time remote leadership role responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and evaluation of key initiatives across the Center’s academic programs and support functions. This position directs project portfolios, ensures alignment with strategic and operational goals, and manages cross-functional collaboration with faculty, staff, and external partners. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading project teams, setting timelines and performance metrics, monitoring budgets and resource allocation, and maintaining high standards of service for students and stakeholders. The role involves establishing and refining project operations processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and reporting on outcomes to senior leadership. The VP of Project Operations also supports long-term strategic planning, risk management, and the development of best practices that enhance program quality and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
Demonstrated expertise in Operations Management and P&L Management, including oversight of budgets, resources, and operational performance.
Strong Strategic Planning and Project Management skills to lead complex initiatives, set priorities, and deliver results on time and within scope.
Proven commitment to high-quality Customer Service with the ability to support student-centered processes and stakeholder relationships.
Experience leading remote or distributed teams, with effective collaboration and communication in a virtual environment.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, with competence in using project management and data reporting tools.
Advanced interpersonal and written communication skills, with the ability to work across academic, administrative, and external partner groups.
Prior leadership experience in higher education, professional development, or a related field is preferred.
Master’s degree in leadership, business, management, education, or a related discipline; equivalent experience may be considered.
