Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Full Stack Engineer role based in Noida, suited to an engineer with around 4 years of experience. The Full Stack Engineer will design, develop, test, and maintain web applications across both front-end and back-end layers. Day-to-day work includes implementing user interfaces in React and Next.js, building and integrating APIs in Node.js and Go, designing and querying relational databases, optimizing performance, ensuring code quality, and collaborating with product managers, designers, and other engineers. The role also involves participating in code reviews, improving development workflows, and contributing to technical documentation and best practices. Engineers at Kynodex work alongside AI coding agents to take features from requirement to production — using them to scaffold, implement, test, and refactor — while remaining fully accountable for architecture, correctness, security, and the long-term maintainability of everything that ships.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Full-Stack Development and Software Development skills, with at least 4 years of experience delivering production-grade web applications.
Candidates should be comfortable working with AI coding agents and assistants (such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot) as part of daily development, using them to move faster across the full delivery cycle — design, implementation, testing, refactoring, and debugging.
Candidates should be able to read, critique, and rewrite AI-generated code rather than accept it as-is, and should apply the same standards of review, testing, and security to it as to code written by hand.
Candidates should possess strong engineering judgement about where AI assistance helps and where it does not, and be able to explain the architecture and trade-offs behind the code they ship regardless of how it was produced.
Candidates should possess solid Front-End Development skills, including React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) with modern styling approaches such as Tailwind.
Candidates should possess robust Back-End Web Development skills, including building REST APIs in Node.js, developing services in Go, integrating databases, and working with server-side frameworks.
Candidates should possess strong relational database skills, including schema design, indexing, query optimization, and migrations, using PostgreSQL or an equivalent SQL database.
Experience implementing authentication and authorization (OAuth2, JWT, or session-based) and working with caching layers such as Redis.
Experience with version control systems (such as Git), containerization with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and collaborative development workflows.
Understanding of web application architecture, security best practices including XSS, CSRF and the OWASP Top 10, and performance optimization including Core Web Vitals.
Experience with automated testing across the stack, and with logging, monitoring, and debugging issues in production.
Ability to analyze requirements, troubleshoot issues, and communicate clearly with cross-functional teams.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Prior experience in an on-site engineering role and familiarity with Agile or similar development methodologies is beneficial.
Exposure to gRPC, message queues such as Kafka or RabbitMQ, real-time features over WebSockets, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), or integrating LLM APIs into web products is an advantage.
