Technical Co-Founder / Full-Stack Developer

Role Description This is a full-time Technical Co-Founder / Full-Stack Developer role based in Kochi, structured as a hybrid position that allows part-time work from home. The role involves owning and evolving the platform’s end-to-end architecture, including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of scalable web applications. Daily responsibilities include implementing new features across frontend and backend, optimizing performance, ensuring security and data integrity, and integrating third-party services and APIs. The Technical Co-Founder will collaborate closely with the founding team on product roadmap decisions, translate business requirements into technical solutions, and establish development standards, tooling, and workflows. The role also includes mentoring future team members, contributing to technical documentation, and participating in code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Strong proficiency in modern frontend development (e.g., React, Vue, or Angular), responsive UI implementation, and HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
Hands-on experience with backend development (e.g., Node.js, Python, or similar), RESTful API design, and microservices-oriented architecture.
Practical knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB), schema design, and query optimization.
Experience with cloud platforms and DevOps practices (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure), CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and application monitoring.
Understanding of e-commerce systems, payment integrations, security best practices, and performance optimization for high-traffic web applications.
Ability to translate product and business requirements into technical solutions, with strong problem-solving and system design skills.
Comfort working in an early-stage startup environment, including ownership mindset, willingness to iterate quickly, and openness to ambiguity.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a hybrid setup from Kochi and coordinate with remote stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Previous startup, technical leadership, or co-founder experience is a plus, as is familiarity
