Role Description The Website Developer is a full-time remote role responsible for designing, building, and maintaining responsive websites and web applications. Day-to-day work includes developing front-end interfaces, implementing back-end functionality, integrating APIs, and ensuring cross-browser and cross-device compatibility. The role involves collaborating with designers, project managers, and other developers to translate requirements into efficient, secure, and well-structured code. The Website Developer will optimize site performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and contribute to code reviews and documentation to maintain high-quality standards.
Qualifications
Front-End Development and Web Design skills, including experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive UI design.
Back-End Web Development and Programming skills, with knowledge of server-side languages, frameworks, and database integration.
Web Development skills covering full website lifecycle, from concept and architecture through deployment and maintenance.
Ability to work effectively in a remote setting, manage time independently, and collaborate using online communication tools.
Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git), testing and debugging practices, and web performance optimization.
Understanding of accessibility standards, security best practices, and SEO-friendly development techniques.
Prior experience in developing production-ready websites or web applications; a portfolio or code samples are highly beneficial.
Relevant education or training in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Web Development, or a related field is preferred.
