Aspire Global Tech is looking for an experienced SAP Shop Floor Integration Specialist to support a long-term Aerospace & Defense manufacturing engagement.
We’re seeking a senior consultant or architect who understands how manufacturing runs—and how to connect SAP with the systems that run the shop floor. You’ll help ensure production orders, confirmations, execution data, and manufacturing feedback move accurately between SAP S/4HANA and MES platforms.
What you’ll do
• Partner with manufacturing, planning, and IT teams to gather requirements and design SAP-to-shop-floor integration solutions.
• Develop functional specifications covering interfaces, business rules, data mappings, enhancements, and expected system behavior.
• Support production order execution, confirmations, work center activities, shop-floor reporting, and manufacturing data collection.
• Ensure reliable data exchange across SAP S/4HANA, MES/SFI systems, and related MRP and PP/DS processes.
• Investigate interface failures, data mismatches, and production issues alongside ABAP developers, MES teams, and business stakeholders.
• Support integration testing, regression testing, UAT, cutover, go-live, and hypercare.
• Identify improvements to production visibility, manufacturing data quality, and shop-floor execution.
What you bring
• Strong SAP manufacturing experience in a senior consulting, functional lead, or solution architecture role.
• Hands-on experience designing or delivering shop-floor integration between SAP and MES systems.
• A solid understanding of production orders, confirmations, work centers, shop-floor reporting, and manufacturing execution data flows.
• Experience translating operational requirements into functional specifications and practical system solutions.
• Experience supporting testing, deployment, production support, and root-cause analysis.
• Aerospace & Defense manufacturing experience, including work in controlled production environments.
• U.S. citizenship.
• A bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
Helpful additional experience
• SAP S/4HANA manufacturing implementations.
• MRP and PP/DS integration with production execution.
• Apriso or another MES platform integrated with SAP.
• End-to-end delivery from solution design through cutover and hypercare.
