Regional President
I. Position Overview
The Regional President is responsible for the overall management and business development of the company within a specific country, region, or market area. They bear full management responsibility for regional revenue, profitability, market growth, customer relationships, operational efficiency, and strategic execution.
This role involves translating Group and headquarters strategies into regional operational plans; coordinating key functions such as sales, marketing, operations, finance, customer management, business development, and human resources; and driving sustainable regional business growth while ensuring the effective local implementation of Group strategies.
II. Key Responsibilities
1. Regional Strategic Planning
Formulate medium- to long-term business development strategies for the region.
Translate the Group’s strategic objectives into regional operational goals and execution plans.
Develop regional business strategies tailored to the local market environment.
Periodically evaluate and adjust the execution of regional strategies.
2. Overall Regional Operations Management
Oversee the overall operation and management of the regional business.
Coordinate various regional business units, divisions, and functional teams.
Monitor regional revenue, profitability, cash flow, and operational performance.
Ensure the effective execution of regional annual operational goals and budgets.
3. Market Expansion and Business Growth
Formulate plans for regional market expansion and business growth.
Identify new markets, customers, and business opportunities.
Drive continuous growth in regional market share and revenue.
Establish mechanisms for regional business development and growth.
4. Customer and Strategic Partnerships
Manage relationships with key and strategic customers in the region.
Participate in major customer negotiations and partnership decisions.
Build a network of strategic partners within the region.
Foster long-term cooperation and business growth with key customers.
5. Regional Operations Management
Oversee regional business operations, service, and delivery systems.
Drive continuous improvement in regional operational efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

6. Financial and Budget Management
Assume responsibility for regional revenue, profitability, and budget execution.

7. Regional Organization and Talent Management
Establish an organizational structure suited to the specific characteristics of the regional business. Build the regional senior management team.

8. Headquarters-Region Coordination
Coordinate strategy between the regional organization and Group headquarters.
Report regional operational and market conditions to headquarters.

Provide feedback to headquarters regarding changes in regional customers, markets, and the competitive landscape.
9. Market and Competitive Analysis
Research regional macroeconomic, industry, and market trends.
Analyze key competitors and their regional strategies.
Assess customer needs, price fluctuations, and market opportunities.
Provide market intelligence to support Group strategy and regional operational decisions.
10. Risk and Compliance Management
Monitor regional operational risks and major risk issues.
Ensure regional business operations comply with local laws, regulations, and company policies.
Collaborate with legal, risk, audit, and compliance teams.
Establish regional risk early-warning and emergency management mechanisms.
11. Regional Branding and External Relations
Represent the company in maintaining key regional business and industry relationships.
Build relationships with government bodies, industry associations, partners, and major clients.
Participate in significant regional industry events and business conferences.
Support the development of the corporate brand and market influence.
12. Senior Management Decision Support
Report regional operational performance to the Group CEO, President, or Board of Directors.
Provide analysis on regional markets, finance, and business operations.
Participate in decisions regarding major regional investments and expansion.
Propose strategic adjustments and resource allocation recommendations based on regional market changes.
III. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
Experience in regional management, business management, or senior operational management within large enterprises.
Experience managing across regions, countries, or business lines.
Familiarity with regional market expansion, sales, operations, and business development.
Competence in financial management, budget management, and operational performance management.
Experience in strategic account management and business negotiation.
Experience managing cross-cultural teams is preferred.
Strong capabilities in strategic planning, business judgment, and decision-making.
Ability to coordinate effectively between headquarters and the regional organization. An MBA or other advanced degree in management is preferred.
