Job Summary:
Responsible for the preparation of complex and interpretive financial analyses and reports. Supports the annual budget process, expense and/or staffing forecasts and statistical reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepares complex financial analyses and reports for department management.
Prepares analyses, reports, and special studies for management.
Business partners with organizational unit(s) to develop annual budgets, expense and staffing forecasts, and statistical reporting.
Prepares and consolidates financial data statistical reporting, including financial performance, variance explanations, and cost analysis.
Coaches or leads less-experienced Financial Analysts.

This role provides backfill for an established Finance Business Partner position while the incumbent supports our SAP transformation program. You’ll step into an existing portfolio, with established stakeholder relationships and the support of an experienced Commercial Finance team around you.
It’s a great opportunity for someone who enjoys getting close to the business and wants broad finance partnering exposure across a diverse operational environment. You’ll work alongside business leaders to help them understand financial performance, identify risks and opportunities, and turn financial information into practical insights that support the business.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Partner with business leaders to provide financial insight, performance reporting and decision support across assigned business areas.
Own and maintain forecasting, variance analysis and management reporting activities, with a focus on understanding and clearly communicating the key drivers of performance.
Support the annual financial planning and budgeting process, working with stakeholders to develop robust financial plans and identify key assumptions, risks and opportunities.
Analyse financial and operational performance, identify emerging issues and opportunities, and provide clear, practical insights to stakeholders.
Support continuous improvement initiatives, proactively identifying opportunities to improve financial insight, data quality and reporting processes while contributing to broader business performance improvements.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
3+ years of experience in Finance Business Partnering, Commercial Finance, FP&A or a similar finance role within a large or complex organisation.
Experience supporting manufacturing, distribution, supply chain, service or other inventory-intensive environments.
Strong analytical capability, with the ability to look beyond reported results and understand the underlying commercial and operational drivers of performance.
Proven ability to interpret financial data and communicate financial information and insights clearly to stakeholders across the business.
Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to build effective working relationships, manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across Finance and the broader business.
Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline. CPA, CA, CMA or similar professional qualification is preferred.
