Role Description The Photographer role at HR Photography is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. This role involves planning and executing photo shoots, including setting up equipment, selecting locations, and coordinating with clients or models. The Photographer will capture images for events, portraits, products, and commercial projects, ensuring proper lighting, composition, and technical quality. Daily responsibilities include editing and retouching photos, organizing files, maintaining equipment, and preparing final deliverables according to client specifications and deadlines. The role also includes meeting with clients to clarify requirements, offering creative input, and collaborating with the team to support studio operations.
Qualifications
Strong technical photography skills, including knowledge of cameras, lenses, lighting, and composition techniques.
Proficiency with photo editing and retouching software (such as Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop) and digital file management.
Ability to communicate clearly with clients, understand creative briefs, and provide professional guidance during shoots.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Comfort working on-site in Chennai, including flexibility for varied schedules, local travel, and occasional evening or weekend assignments.
Prior studio, event, or commercial photography experience is preferred; a portfolio demonstrating relevant work is required.
Formal training in photography, visual arts, or a related field is an advantage but not mandatory if experience is strong.
