Job Description — Lead Solar Installer
Monolith Grid Energy Pvt. Ltd. | Greater Delhi Area | On-site
We are looking for a Lead Solar Installer to lead the on-site installation and execution of rooftop solar PV projects.
Key Responsibilities
Lead installation of rooftop solar PV systems, including modules, mounting structures, DC/AC cabling and electrical protection systems.
Supervise module mounting, structure installation, cable routing, termination, earthing and lightning protection.
Execute installation work as per approved drawings, site measurements and project specifications.
Coordinate with the Project Engineer and site team for daily execution and material requirements.
Perform DC/AC cable termination, connector assembly, inverter installation and system wiring.
Assist with testing, troubleshooting and commissioning of solar PV systems.
Ensure proper alignment, fastening, cable management, waterproofing and overall installation quality.
Maintain site safety, housekeeping and safe handling of electrical equipment and materials.
Coordinate with helpers, electricians, subcontractors and other site personnel.
Support site surveys, measurements, material unloading and project handover.
Identify and report installation issues, material shortages or site constraints to the Project Engineer.
Support basic preventive maintenance and corrective work on commissioned solar plants.
Requirements
Prior hands-on experience in solar PV installation / electrical installation preferred.
ITI Electrician, Electrical Diploma or relevant technical qualification preferred.
Ability to work at rooftop/project sites in the Delhi NCR region.
Knowledge of electrical safety, tools, cable termination and basic solar PV components.
Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
Ability to lead a small installation crew and complete work according to project timelines.
