Director of Project Management

Role Description The Director of Project Management is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing end-to-end planning and delivery of talent and event management projects. This position leads multiple project teams, defines priorities, and ensures alignment with business goals, timelines, and budgetary constraints. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing project plans, managing resources, monitoring progress, mitigating risks, and communicating status updates and outcomes to senior leadership and key stakeholders. The Director will also drive process improvements, establish project management standards, and foster collaboration across departments to support consistent, high-quality execution.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Project Management and Program Management skills to oversee complex, multi-phase initiatives.
Candidates should possess Budgeting skills to manage financial plans, track costs, and ensure projects are delivered within approved budgets.
Candidates should possess Team Leadership skills to guide cross-functional teams, coach project managers, and promote a collaborative culture.
Candidates should possess Process Improvement skills to analyze workflows, implement best practices, and optimize project delivery frameworks.
Proven experience in a senior project or program management role, preferably within events, entertainment, or a related industry.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and conflict-resolution abilities.
Strong analytical and organizational skills, with a focus on results and continuous improvement.
Bachelor’s degree in business, project management, or a related field; advanced certifications (e.g., PMP, PgMP) are a plus.
Comfort working remotely, with proficiency in digital collaboration and project management tools.
