How will you make an impact?
The Warehouse Operations Excellence Specialist will support the performance, compliance and continuous improvement of warehouse operations. Through data analysis, inventory management, quality systems and structured problem solving, this role will identify operational risks and performance gaps, investigate root causes, and partner with cross-functional teams to implement sustainable improvements. The role will also support quality records, change control and operational reporting using systems including SAP and TrackWise.
What will you do?
Analyse warehouse and supply chain data to identify trends, risks, performance gaps and improvement opportunities.
Develop, monitor and report warehouse KPIs relating to inventory accuracy, quality, service and operational efficiency.
Lead and support structured root cause analysis for inventory discrepancies, operational issues, deviations and recurring performance concerns.
Conduct and support risk assessments and identify appropriate mitigation actions.
Initiate, coordinate and support change control activities, including assessment of operational impacts and completion of required actions.
Initiate, investigate, maintain and support timely closure of quality records and corrective/preventive actions.
Support inventory management and control, including reconciliation, cycle counting, stock accuracy and investigation of discrepancies.
Use SAP for inventory management, material movements, transaction analysis, reporting and investigations.
Use TrackWise to manage applicable quality records, investigations, corrective actions and change controls.
Support onboarding and training coordination activities for warehouse personnel as required
Coordinate leave coverage and daily work allocation to maintain continuity of warehouse operations
Support internal and external audits and regulatory inspections.
Keys to Success:
Formal tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering, Quality, Operations Management or a related discipline is desirable.
Previous experience in warehouse operations, supply chain, logistics, inventory management, operational excellence or a related environment.
Demonstrated experience in supply chain data analysis, KPI monitoring and performance reporting.
Experience conducting root cause analysis, risk assessments and structured problem solving.
Experience with quality records, change control, deviations and corrective/preventive actions is highly desirable.
Practical experience using SAP for warehouse, inventory or supply chain activities.
Experience using TrackWise or a similar electronic quality management system is desirable.
Experience in a regulated or quality-controlled environment is advantageous.
Education
Formal tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline is desirable.
Experience
Experience in warehouse operations, supply chain, inventory management or operational excellence.
Experience with data analysis, KPIs and continuous improvement.
Experience with root cause analysis, risk assessment, change control and quality records.
Practical experience using SAP.
Experience using TrackWise or a similar electronic quality management system is desirable.
