Role Description The System Designer is a full-time, on-site role based in Muar, responsible for designing, documenting, and improving systems that support SME clients and internal operations. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing business requirements, modeling system architectures, and creating detailed design specifications to ensure scalability, reliability, and usability. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate client needs into technical solutions, conducting design reviews, and coordinating with developers, engineers, and stakeholders throughout the implementation process. The System Designer also performs system testing and validation, identifies areas for optimization, and prepares clear documentation and diagrams to support ongoing maintenance and enhancements.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Systems Design skills, including system architecture, requirements analysis, and specification development.
Candidates should possess Testing and validation skills, including test planning, execution, and troubleshooting of system issues.
Candidates should possess Research skills to gather user requirements, analyze industry practices, and evaluate potential solutions.
Candidates should possess Computer-Aided Design (CAD) skills for creating system diagrams, technical drawings, and visual documentation.
Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Electronics to understand hardware-related system components and integrations.
Relevant qualifications include a diploma or degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
Additional beneficial skills include problem-solving, attention to detail, clear communication, and the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Experience in SME-focused solutions, information services, or similar environments is an advantage.
