Role Description The SVP Finance at The Echelon Magnate is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing all financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities for the organization. This role manages budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial strategy to support sustainable growth and operational efficiency. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing financial statements, monitoring cash flow, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and standards. The SVP Finance will collaborate closely with senior leadership to evaluate business initiatives, optimize resource allocation, and provide data-driven recommendations. This position also leads and mentors the finance function, establishing best practices and scalable processes as the organization expands.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Finance, Financial Planning, and Financial Reporting.

Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role, preferably in media, digital publishing, or a fast-growing organization.
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic financial plans and support executive decision-making.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills in a remote environment.
Strong proficiency with financial modeling, budgeting tools, and modern accounting/ERP systems.
Relevant academic background, such as a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA, MBA) is an asset.
High level of integrity, sound judgment, and commitment to ethical financial practices.
