Accounting Team Lead

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Accounting Team Lead based in Brazil.
This role is an opportunity to lead core accounting activities for a US-focused financial services organization while working fully remotely from Brazil.
You will oversee accrual accounting for loan-related income and expenses and ensure compliance with US GAAP.
The position combines hands-on accounting expertise with team leadership and responsibility for timely, accurate financial reporting.
You will manage and review the work of two Accounting Analysts while helping maintain a disciplined monthly close process.
The role also involves evaluating the appropriate accounting treatment for new transactions and business events.
You will work with financial data, reconciliations, reporting processes, and accounting systems in a fast-paced remote environment.
This position is particularly suited to an experienced accounting professional with strong US GAAP knowledge and leadership capabilities.
