Position Summary
This is a great opportunity to join the Oncology franchise at Lilly Australia, managing a well-established breast cancer brand across NSW & ACT, with exciting launches ahead.
We're looking for an experienced, customer-facing Oncology sales professional ready to take our team to the next level — someone who builds meaningful customer relationships, brings deep clinical expertise, and aligns customer and business needs with strong ownership.
This role reports to the National Sales Manager and works closely with the cross-functional team, including Marketing and Medical. Travel is required to meet with thought leaders and customers, with occasional evening and weekend commitments for company and industry events.
Key Responsibilities & AccountabilitiesSales Responsibilities
Understand customer needs through value-based and institutional selling
Provide approved disease and treatment information to key decision-makers, backed by strong clinical knowledge
Communicate product and clinical material with credibility and confidence, keeping expertise current
Develop and execute your Territory Business Plan, including plans for hospital accounts and their stakeholders
Run multi-channel programs (face-to-face and virtual) to build brand awareness, drive adoption, and prepare the market for upcoming launches
Manage the territory's financial and commercial performance to maintain profitability
Implement, evaluate and feedback on marketing strategy
Take part in field-based sales training to stay current on Lilly's engagement policies
Operate with high integrity, adhering to the Medicines Australia Code of Conduct and Lilly's policies

This role covers NSW & ACT. Products and territories may change over time based on business needs; the current portfolio is focused on a market-leading breast cancer brand, with promising launches ahead.

Key Competencies and Selection Criteria
Tertiary qualifications in Science, Business, Nursing or a related discipline is essential.
Business ownership and selling capability with a strong strategic customer focus
Account & Stakeholder Management — building and maintaining valued relationships with key accounts, influencers and teams
Scientific Knowledge & Business Acumen — sharing clinical and commercial information credibly and solving problems for mutual benefit
Planning, Execution & Organisation — delivering results with accountability, on time
Learning Agility & Resilience — adaptable, comfortable with complexity, and able to bounce back from setbacks
Emotional Intelligence & Compliance — building valued relationships while operating within Lilly's principles at all times

Resourceful and results-driven, with a sense of urgency and a continual focus on learning and growth
Prior Knowledge or Experience
Strong track record in Oncology or Specialty pharma sales is preferable
Previous selling experience in a clinical/hospital setting is preferable
Sound knowledge of the Oncology environment & customer base is preferable
