Role Description The Field Services Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in New Delhi. The engineer will install, commission, and service environmental testing equipment at customer locations, ensuring systems operate to specification. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing diagnostics, troubleshooting equipment issues, conducting preventive maintenance, and providing technical support to resolve customer problems promptly. The role involves preparing service reports, coordinating with internal teams for spare parts and technical guidance, and maintaining accurate records of service activities. The engineer will interact directly with customers to understand their requirements, deliver training on equipment usage, and uphold high standards of safety, professionalism, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Field Service skills, including on-site installation, commissioning, and servicing of technical equipment.
Candidates should possess Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills to diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and control system issues efficiently.
Candidates should possess Preventive Maintenance skills to plan and execute routine inspections, calibrations, and upkeep of environmental testing systems.
Candidates should possess Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, manage expectations, and build long-term customer relationships.
Diploma or degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related field) or equivalent technical qualification.
Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and service documentation, and to use standard test and measurement tools safely.
Willingness to travel to customer sites, work independently in the field, and adapt to diverse industrial environments.
Prior experience in environmental testing equipment or industrial automation service is an advantage.
