Store Manager

Not every Store Manager role comes with a clean slate.
This one does.
We're looking for a Store Manager to lead our Taubmans Darwin store, taking over from a long-standing leader who recently retired after a successful career.
You'll inherit an experienced team, a well-established customer base, and the opportunity to put your own stamp on the business.
The foundations are solid.
Now we're looking for someone who can help take it to the next level.
Whether you're currently a Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, Branch Manager, Trade Centre Manager, or an experienced retail leader ready for something different, we'd love to hear from you.
What's the opportunity?
This isn't a role where you'll spend all day sitting behind a desk.
You'll be on the shop floor, working with customers, supporting your team, managing inventory, and driving sales performance across the Darwin market.
The store also services a key Bunnings distribution channel, so keeping stock moving and customers happy is a big part of the job.
You'll lead a small, experienced team consisting of an Assistant Store Manager and two Sales Assistants.
They're knowledgeable, capable, and have kept things running well during an extended period without a permanent Store Manager.
Now they need a leader who can help unlock the store's potential.
What success looks like
Within your first 6-12 months you'll be focused on:
· Growing sales and improving commercial performance
· Building strong relationships with trade and retail customers
· Maintaining excellent inventory management
· Achieving industry-leading DIFOT performance
· Creating a positive, accountable team culture
· Identifying opportunities to grow the business across the NT market
