Provide friendly, efficient and professional food and beverage service to guests at SEEN Restaurant & Bar, ensuring a memorable dining experience in accordance with Avani service standards and hotel policies.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome and serve guests in a friendly, professional and efficient manner.
Take and accurately process food and beverage orders.
Have thorough knowledge of all menu items, ingredients, beverages, promotions and outlet facilities.
Provide menu recommendations and answer guests' questions regarding food and beverages.
Serve food and beverages accurately and according to established service standards.
Set up, clear and maintain tables and service areas to ensure cleanliness and readiness.
Monitor guest needs throughout the dining experience and respond promptly to requests.
Coordinate closely with the Kitchen, Bar, Hostess and other F&B team members to ensure smooth service.
Operate the POS system accurately and follow established billing and payment procedures.
Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally and report issues to the Supervisor/Manager when required.
Maintain high standards of personal grooming, hygiene and professional appearance.
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, health and safety standards.
Maintain the cleanliness and proper condition of restaurant equipment and facilities.
Support daily opening and closing duties, including mise en place and outlet preparation.
Assist with special events, promotions and other F&B activities when required.
Participate in departmental training and continuously develop product and service knowledge.
Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by the F&B Supervisor or Manager.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or Vocational Certificate in Hospitality, Hotel Management, Food & Beverage or related field.
Previous experience in Food & Beverage / Restaurant operations is preferred.
Experience in a 5-star hotel, luxury restaurant, rooftop restaurant or bar is an advantage.
Good command of spoken English; able to communicate effectively with international guests.
Excellent guest service and interpersonal skills.
Good knowledge of food and beverage service.
Basic knowledge of POS systems is an advantage.
Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
Strong attention to detail.
Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Professional grooming and personality.
Able to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
