Job Title: Senior Consultant – .NET + Azure + SQL

Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior Consultant with strong expertise in .NET development, Azure Cloud services, and SQL-based database environments. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience developing and maintaining cloud-based applications using .NET, Azure components, Web APIs, REST/JSON web services, and Snowflake DB.
The candidate will be responsible for application development, cloud integration, testing, and deployment while collaborating with technical teams and clients to deliver scalable, reliable, and high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Application Development: Design, develop, maintain, and enhance cloud-based applications using the .NET Framework. Knowledge of .NET Core is an added advantage.
API & Web Services Development: Develop and maintain Web APIs, WCF services, REST/JSON web services, and web jobs.
Azure Cloud Development: Develop and support .NET applications hosted on Microsoft Azure, leveraging relevant Azure services and cloud components.
Azure Services Integration: Work with Azure Blob Storage, Service Bus (Queues, Topics, and Relay), Application Insights, Azure Table Storage, application servers, and cloud servers.
Database Management: Work with SQL and Snowflake DB for data access, integration, and application development requirements.
Object-Oriented Design: Apply strong object-oriented programming principles and MVC architecture to develop maintainable and scalable applications.
Design Patterns: Apply appropriate software design patterns to improve code quality, reusability, and maintainability.
Version Control: Use GitHub to manage large software projects, including branching, tagging, merging, and collaboration across multiple developers.
Testing & Validation: Develop .NET-based test client forms and support application testing, debugging, and issue resolution.
CI/CD & Deployment: Work with Azure CI/CD pipelines to support automated build, testing, and deployment processes.
Troubleshooting & Support: Identify and resolve application and cloud-related issues while ensuring application reliability and performance.
Client & Team Collaboration: Collaborate with clients, developers, and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.
Required Technical Skills
5–10 years of experience in .NET development.
Strong hands-on experience with the .NET Framework in cloud-based environments.
Knowledge of .NET Core is an added advantage.
Expert knowledge of Web API, Web Jobs, WCF, JSON, and REST/JSON web services.
Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud and .NET application development.
Strong understanding of Azure Blob Storage, Service Bus (Queues, Topics, Relay), Application Insights, and Azure Table Storage.
Working knowledge of SQL and Snowflake DB.
Strong object-oriented programming and design skills.
Good understanding of MVC architecture.
Experience using GitHub for branching, tagging, merging, and team-based development.
Ability to develop test client forms using .NET.
Knowledge of Azure CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of software design patterns is an added advantage.
