Security Engineer II

Nykaa is looking for a Security Engineer II to strengthen its security operations and infrastructure protection. The role involves hands-on work across network security, cloud security, web security, endpoint security, and security operations.
Responsibilities:
Configure, manage and troubleshoot SWG, CASB, DLP and ZTNA solutions such as Netskope and Zscaler.
Manage FortiGate firewalls, including policies, objects, NAT, VPNs and security monitoring.
Manage and tune Akamai WAF rules, exceptions and security protections.
Manage and investigate alerts from EDR/XDR platforms such as Palo Alto Cortex XDR or CrowdStrike.
Monitor security events and perform root-cause analysis and incident investigation.
Support incident response, remediation and vulnerability management.
Work with infrastructure, application and cloud teams on secure architectures.
Support security control reviews, change management and security documentation.
Troubleshoot network and security issues across enterprise environments.
Requirements:
5-6 years of hands-on experience in Information Security, Network Security or Security Operations.
Strong hands-on experience with Netskope or Zscaler across SWG/CASB/DLP/ZTNA.
Experience with FortiGate firewalls.
Experience with Akamai WAF.
Experience with at least one EDR/XDR platform such as CrowdStrike or Palo Alto Cortex XDR.
Good understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, routing, VPNs and proxies.
Good knowledge of AWS security, including IAM, VPC, Security Groups, logging and monitoring.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical and incident-handling skills.
Good communication and documentation skills.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity or a related field.
Good to Have: CCNP, CCIE, CCSP.
