Job Description:
We're seeking recent college graduates and early-career professionals for our Associate Revenue Management Analyst hiring cohort with start dates in February or July 2027. Selected candidates will join either the Pricing or Yield Management Team, two closely connected organizations that use data, analytics, and business strategy to influence commercial decisions across Southwest's network. This opportunity is designed for individuals looking to launch their careers in a fast-paced, analytical environment while learning from experienced Revenue Management professionals.
As an Associate Revenue Management & Pricing Analyst, you'll analyze customer demand, market performance, and competitive activity to help maximize passenger revenue. You'll use data and analytical tools to identify opportunities, develop recommendations, and implement pricing and inventory strategies that influence business results. Working closely with Teams across Revenue Management, you'll gain ownership of assigned markets, contribute to key commercial decisions, and develop expertise in pricing, forecasting, and revenue optimization.

Responsibilities
Monitor and analyze market performance and forecast to identify revenue opportunities
Maintain and adjust market pricing and inventory position to improve revenue
Analyze forward-looking demand trends in assigned markets and cities
Deliver well-written post-analysis on assigned markets as requested by leaders
Identify outliers in forecasting system and make appropriate actions
Collaborate with team in managing holidays and special events; conduct and present analysis on revenue performance within market scope
Maintain analysis utilizing Excel functions including, but not limited to: pivot tables, formulas, lookups
Collaborate with the Revenue Management team to maximize revenue
May perform other job duties as directed by Employee’s Leaders

Ability to solve complex analytical problems
Ability to interpret data, draw implications and modify approach as needed
Skilled at taking both the big picture and details into account and making the right decision
Skilled in synthesizing action plans and communicating to others
Ability to prioritize own work
Ability to make decisions in an ambiguous environment and actively make trade-offs considering the highest revenue opportunity or greatest sense of urgency
Ability to maintain composure, work quality, and other skills during stressful situations
Education
Required: High School Diploma or GED
Preferred: Completed degree by the start of the program with an Aviation, Analytics, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Math, Statistics, Supply Chain, Marketing or Business-related field OR similar degree
Experience
Entry level experience, including academic course work, in developing skills and/or knowledge in: Identifying trends and drawing conclusions as well as Quantitative analysis to evaluate data
Preferred: Previous work or internship experience in the Aviation or Hospitality industries
Preferred: Ability to demonstrate proficiency using MS Excel to manipulate, analyze, and interpret data with skills that include the use of formulas, functions, sorting, filtering, and basic data visualization.
Preferred: Previous experience in revenue management (This can be from previous work experience or academic coursework)
Preferred: Experience with either SQL or Alteryx

Ability to perform work duties from [limited space work station/desk/office area] for extended periods of time
Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job
Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job

Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines
Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines
Pay & Benefits
Competitive market salary starting at $63,7000-$70,800 per year depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at the discretion of the Company.
