Senior Salesforce Developer – EL1 | Canberra
People Connect ICT Solutions is seeking experienced Senior Salesforce Developers for an exciting Australian Government opportunity with the Department
📍 Canberra Remote
📅 12 months + 24-month extension potential
🔐 NV1 Security Clearance required
💼 EL1 Level
About the Role
Join a delivery-focused team responsible for developing, enhancing and supporting enterprise Salesforce solutions. You’ll work closely with Solution Leads, Business Analysts, Testers and Release Managers to deliver secure, scalable and high-quality Salesforce solutions.
Key Skills & Experience
3+ years of hands-on Salesforce Development
Enterprise-level Salesforce solution design, development and integration
Salesforce configuration including:
Custom Objects
Flows
Permission Sets
Sharing Rules and Settings
Advanced Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), OmniStudio and Aura
Strong JavaScript, HTML and CSS
Experience with Salesforce Public Sector Solutions (PSS) and Experience Cloud
Strong troubleshooting and debugging capabilities
Experience with Git/version control and CI/CD/DevOps pipelines
Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and development standards
Certifications
Essential:
Salesforce Platform Developer I
OmniStudio Developer / Consultant
Desirable:
Salesforce Platform Developer II
Salesforce Architect certification
Salesforce Public Sector Solutions certification
Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant
What You'll Be Doing
Analyse business requirements and translate them into Salesforce solutions
Design, configure and develop Salesforce applications
Build sustainable solutions using Salesforce best practices
Support testing, quality assurance and release activities
Work across DevOps pipelines and deployment processes
Prepare technical, solution and design documentation
Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle
