Role Description This remote Website Development Internship role focuses on supporting the development and optimization of WhatsPortal’s web presence and related tools. Interns will assist in building and maintaining website features, implementing front-end components, and supporting integrations that enhance user experience and performance. Daily responsibilities may include coding under guidance from senior developers, testing and debugging web applications, documenting technical work, and collaborating with product and design teams to align website functionality with business goals. The internship is a learning-focused role, offering exposure to modern web technologies, agile workflows, and real-world SaaS product development in a remote environment.
Qualifications
Strong Analytical Skills to diagnose issues, interpret data, and improve website performance.
Effective Communication abilities for collaborating with cross-functional remote teams and documenting work clearly.
Foundational Software Development knowledge, including understanding of web architectures and version control tools.
Basic Programming skills in languages commonly used for web development (e.g., JavaScript, HTML, CSS; familiarity with frameworks is a plus).
Awareness of Sales and user journeys to support features that drive conversions and customer engagement.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or coursework in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Interest in AI-powered platforms, automation, and customer communication technologies.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and be open to feedback and continuous learning.
