Oracle Cloud WMS Consultant

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud WMS Consultant with 3–4 years of
hands-on experience implementing, configuring, and supporting Oracle Warehouse
Management Cloud solutions. The role will translate warehouse requirements into
practical solution designs, configure core WMS processes, support integrations,
coordinate testing and deployment, resolve production issues, and work closely with
business and technical stakeholders. The ideal candidate will combine strong
warehouse-domain knowledge with independent delivery capability and the ability to
guide junior team members when required.
Key Responsibilities
Independently configure, implement, and support Oracle Cloud WMS solutions
based on approved business requirements and solution designs.
Conduct requirement-gathering discussions, fit-gap analysis, functional design,
configuration, and deployment activities under the guidance of the solution lead
or project manager.
Collaborate with business users, warehouse operations teams, technical teams,
and project stakeholders to validate requirements and resolve functional issues.
Configure inbound, outbound, inventory, putaway, picking, packing, shipping,
allocation, replenishment, wave, task-management, and exception-handling
processes.
Prepare test scenarios, support system integration testing and user acceptance
testing, track defects, and assist with cutover, production deployment, and
hypercare.
Perform root-cause analysis for Oracle Cloud WMS issues, coordinate resolution
with relevant teams, and document preventive actions.
Define functional integration requirements and collaborate with technical teams
on interfaces between Oracle Cloud WMS, Oracle Fusion SCM, external ERP
systems, transportation platforms, automation equipment, and third-party
logistics providers.
Prepare and maintain functional design documents, configuration workbooks,
business process documents, integration requirements, test scenarios,
operational procedures, and training materials.
Conduct user training sessions and provide post-go-live support.
Own assigned deliverables, risks, dependencies, quality checks, and timelines
while following project governance and Oracle implementation best practices.
Required Skills
3–4 years of Oracle Cloud WMS implementation and support experience,
including at least one end-to-end implementation or rollout.
Strong understanding of warehouse operating models, inventory controls,
fulfilment strategies, material-handling flows, and supply chain operations.
Hands-on experience in:
Inbound Receiving
Putaway
Inventory Management
Picking & Packing
Shipping & Dispatch
Cycle Counting
Replenishment
Wave Management
Experience with Oracle Fusion SCM touchpoints, particularly Inventory
Management and Order Management; exposure to Procurement, Manufacturing,
or Transportation Management is advantageous.
Working knowledge of integration patterns using REST APIs, SOAP services, web
services, file-based exchanges, interface monitoring, and error handling.
Ability to use SQL and application data for reconciliation, issue diagnosis,
interface validation, and operational analysis.
Hands-on experience in requirement workshops, configuration, functional
design, testing, cutover support, user training, hypercare, and production
support.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or
related field.
Oracle Warehouse Management Cloud is preferred.
Experience working in Agile implementation projects.
Exposure to Oracle Integration Cloud, including interface monitoring and basic
failure analysis, is preferred.
Knowledge of Supply Chain and Logistics processes.
