Backend Engineer | Build GenAI & AI Agent Platforms

I’m supporting a technology company in Japan that sits at the intersection of FinTech, Data, and AI.
Originally founded from the University of Tokyo ecosystem, the company has grown into a 400+ person technology group building financial infrastructure, data products, and AI solutions for major enterprises in Japan.
The company owns unique, highly valuable datasets such as credit card transactions, POS data, corporate data, and location data, and turns them into real products used by financial institutions, investors, real estate companies, and other large enterprises.

As a Backend Engineer, you could work on:
Enterprise GenAI and AI agent products
MCP gateway and AI governance platforms
Large-scale data APIs and delivery infrastructure
Financial research products using payment and POS data
AI-powered SaaS built on proprietary datasets
