Role Description The Quality Control Engineer is a full-time, on-site position based in Rajkot. This role is responsible for inspecting materials and finished products, monitoring production processes, and ensuring compliance with internal standards and relevant regulations. Day-to-day tasks include performing tests and measurements, documenting inspection results, identifying non-conformities, and coordinating corrective and preventive actions with production and engineering teams. The Quality Control Engineer will analyze data to identify trends, recommend process improvements, and support the implementation of quality assurance and quality management systems. The role also involves preparing reports, assisting in audits, and communicating quality-related findings clearly to stakeholders.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Quality Control and Quality Assurance skills for inspecting, testing, and validating materials, components, and finished products.
Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and Quality Management capabilities to interpret data, support root-cause analysis, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, document findings, and present quality reports clearly and accurately.
Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Production Engineering (or related field) are preferred.
Familiarity with quality standards (such as ISO systems), use of measuring instruments, and basic knowledge of statistical quality tools will be beneficial.
Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a manufacturing or engineering environment are desirable.
