Your Mission: The Role

Are you a hands-on technical architect who lives for the challenge of a complex schema and a clean UI? The Modern Product Engineering BU is looking for a Lead Product Engineer (MERN + Postgres) to join our elite Solver Squad.
The Solver Squad isn't just a team; it’s a high-performance engine designed to tackle the toughest full-stack puzzles. As a Lead, you won't just oversee "tickets"—you will be the primary architect of the audacious. You’ll be deep in the trenches, balancing the fluidity of React with the rigid reliability of PostgreSQL, and mentoring a squad of talented engineers to deliver code that isn't just functional, but future-proof.
What You'll Do

Architect Full-Stack Ecosystems: Design and develop high-performance web applications using React for intuitive front-ends and Node.js for scalable, event-driven backends.
Master Data Integrity: Design and optimize complex relational schemas in PostgreSQL, ensuring data consistency, performance tuning (indexing, query optimization), and seamless integration with the application layer.
Build "Cloud-Ready" JavaScript: Leverage the Node.js ecosystem to build stateless services specifically optimized for GCP/AWS environments (like Cloud Run or Lambda).
Functional Skills
You can sharpen the Quality Craftsman and Solution Architect personas to reflect this stack's specific challenges.
The Full-Stack Specialist: This persona understands the nuances of the JavaScript ecosystem. They don’t just write code; they manage state efficiently in React and handle asynchronous flows in Node.js without breaking a sweat.
The Data Custodian: (An evolution of the Quality Craftsman) They treat the database as the heart of the application. They advocate for clean Postgres migrations, ACID compliance, and efficient data modeling to prevent "tech debt" at the storage layer.
Proven Experience
Full-Stack Mastery (React & Node.js): You have 4+ years of professional experience building end-to-end products. This includes crafting responsive, component-driven interfaces in React and architecting high-performance, event-driven backends using Node.js (ideally with TypeScript).
Relational Database Expertise: You don’t just "use" databases; you understand them. You have deep hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, from designing scalable schemas and managing migrations to optimizing complex queries for production-grade workloads.
AI-Native Workflow: You are an early adopter of the future of engineering. You demonstrate proficiency in using AI coding assistants (like GitHub Copilot or Cursor) to accelerate React component boilerplate, unit test generation, and SQL optimization.
Cloud-Native Deployment: You have a track record of deploying JavaScript-based microservices to AWS or GCP, with a solid understanding of how to containerize applications (Docker) and manage state in a cloud environment.
Architectural Ownership: You’ve moved beyond just "tickets." You have experience taking a feature from a whiteboard concept to a live Postgres-backed API, ensuring the solution is scalable, secure, and easy for other engineers to maintain.
