Role Description
The Lead Software Developer (Node.js) will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable back-end services and APIs using Node.js and related technologies. This full-time, on-site role is based in Jaipur and involves leading a development team, reviewing code, and ensuring adherence to best practices and high-quality standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions, optimizing application performance, and ensuring reliability and security. The role also includes mentoring junior developers, conducting technical reviews, and contributing to architectural decisions and long-term technology roadmap planning. The Lead Software Developer is expected to coordinate with product management, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver robust software solutions on schedule.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and system design.
Proficiency in Back-End Web Development with Node.js, RESTful APIs, and server-side frameworks.
Extensive experience in Software Development practices, including design patterns, testing, and deployment.
Advanced Programming skills with JavaScript/TypeScript and solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
Minimum 8 years of professional experience in software development, including team leadership or technical lead responsibilities.
Experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL), version control (Git), and CI/CD pipelines.
Ability to mentor and guide developers, conduct code reviews, and enforce coding standards.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills in cross-functional teams.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and microservices architecture is highly beneficial.
