Role Description This is a part-time, remote Web Designer role responsible for designing and refining website layouts and user interfaces for a variety of client projects. On a day-to-day basis, the Web Designer will create wireframes and mockups, develop responsive page designs, and collaborate with developers to ensure design concepts are accurately implemented. The role includes selecting visual assets, optimizing graphics for the web, and maintaining consistency in branding and style across pages. The Web Designer will also participate in design reviews, incorporate feedback from stakeholders, and ensure that user experience, accessibility, and performance standards are met.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Web Design and Responsive Web Design to create user-centered, mobile-friendly interfaces.
Candidates should possess skills in Graphic Design and Graphics to produce visually appealing layouts, icons, and imagery.
Candidates should possess skills in Front-End Development to translate designs into functional web pages using HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.
Strong understanding of UX principles, accessibility best practices, and cross-browser compatibility.
Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar applications.
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate remotely with cross-functional teams.
Attention to detail, good time management, and the ability to handle multiple projects in a part-time capacity.
Relevant education or practical experience in web design, digital media, or a related field is preferred.
