DevOps & Platform Engineer, Exp: 3-6 Yrs, Noida-58, WFO

Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on DevOps & Platform Engineer to take ownership of application deployment, containerisation, production operations, monitoring, troubleshooting and platform connectivity. The role will work closely with development, data and BI teams to ensure applications and integrations are deployed reliably and remain stable in production.
DevOps and production engineering are the primary focus. Strong Python skills are required mainly for automation, scripting, troubleshooting and supporting Python-based applications and APIs. Power BI Gateway, Microsoft Fabric and AI/GenAI experience are strong differentiators.
Key Responsibilities:
DevOps, Deployment & Release Management
· Own and execute application deployments across development, test and production environments.
· Manage release processes, deployment configurations and environment-specific settings.
· Build, maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines.
· Automate repetitive deployment and operational activities.
· Work with development teams to prepare applications for reliable production deployment.
· Investigate and resolve deployment failures and release-related issues.
· Maintain deployment and operational documentation.
Docker & Container Management
· Create and maintain Dockerfiles and Docker images.
· Build, tag, publish, run and troubleshoot Docker containers.
· Manage container configuration, environment variables, volumes and networking.
· Troubleshoot container startup, dependency, connectivity and resource issues.
· Maintain appropriate image/version management practices.
· Support containerised Python APIs and enterprise applications.
Server, Monitoring & Production Operations
· Monitor application servers, services, containers and production workloads.
· Analyse application, system and container logs.
· Troubleshoot availability, performance and connectivity issues.
· Investigate CPU, memory, disk, process, network and service-level issues.
· Respond to production incidents and perform root-cause analysis.
· Implement permanent fixes and preventive measures.
· Coordinate with infrastructure, development and data teams during incidents.
Cloud, Networking & Platform Operations
· Work with cloud and on-premises environments supporting enterprise applications.
· Troubleshoot HTTP/HTTPS, ports, DNS, SSL/TLS and application connectivity issues.
· Understand firewall, proxy and network connectivity concepts.
· Support Azure-based application and data platform components.
· Manage or troubleshoot application configuration, secrets and service connectivity using established practices.
Power BI & Microsoft Fabric Platform Support
· Manage and troubleshoot Power BI On-premises Data Gateway.
· Troubleshoot gateway connectivity, data-source and refresh issues.
· Support Microsoft Fabric connectors and data connectivity.
· Support connectivity between enterprise data sources, Data Lake/Fabric and Power BI.
· Work with BI and data engineering teams to resolve platform incidents.
Python Automation & Application Support
· Write Python scripts for deployment, monitoring, operational automation and troubleshooting.
· Understand and troubleshoot Python-based APIs and services.
· Make minor enhancements or fixes to Python applications when required.
· Build utilities for data movement, validation, health checks and operational workflows.
· Work with REST APIs and JSON-based integrations when required.
AI, GenAI & Intelligent Automation
· Use AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT or equivalent tools to improve engineering productivity.
· Identify opportunities to automate DevOps and operational activities using AI.
· Integrate AI/LLM APIs into internal tools or operational workflows where appropriate.
· Use AI for log analysis, incident investigation, documentation, monitoring or workflow automation.
· Experience with Azure OpenAI, OpenAI APIs or equivalent enterprise AI platforms is preferred.

Experience:
3–6 years of relevant experience in DevOps, platform engineering, production engineering, cloud operations, application operations or a closely related role.
Candidates with strong hands-on experience in Docker, CI/CD, production troubleshooting and application deployment will be prioritised. Python is expected as an automation and application-support skill rather than as the primary software-development focus.
