Billing Engineer

Role Description This is a temporary, on-site Billing Engineer role based in Baleshwar. The Billing Engineer will be responsible for preparing and verifying Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and measurements from drawings and site records, ensuring accurate quantity calculations for ongoing works. Daily tasks include performing rate analysis, validating contractor bills, updating billing systems, and coordinating with site engineers and accountants to resolve discrepancies. The role involves maintaining detailed documentation, supporting quantity surveying activities, and preparing interim and final bills as per project timelines and contractual terms. The Billing Engineer will work closely with project teams to support transparent, timely, and compliant billing processes.
Qualifications
Strong Quantity Surveying and BOQ preparation skills, including measurement from drawings and site data.
Proficiency in Billing Systems and processes, with the ability to manage and reconcile project billing records.
Solid Analytical Skills and experience in Rate Analysis for materials, labor, and subcontractor works.
Knowledge of civil engineering or construction practices, including exposure to site execution and project documentation.
Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is preferred.
Ability to work on-site in Baleshwar, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and meet strict deadlines.
Attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and familiarity with MS Excel or similar tools for billing and reporting.
Good written and verbal communication skills and a commitment to ethical and transparent billing practices.
