Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Design Sales role based in Bengaluru. The Interior Design Sales professional will consult with customers to understand their needs, preferences, and budgets, and recommend interior design solutions, furniture, and space planning options that align with Brigade Group’s standards. Daily responsibilities include conducting showroom walk-throughs, preparing design proposals and cost estimates, coordinating with design and project teams to ensure accurate implementation, and following up with customers throughout the sales cycle. The role also involves maintaining product knowledge, staying updated on interior design trends and materials, managing leads and inquiries, and achieving sales targets while providing an excellent customer experience. The Interior Design Sales professional will represent Brigade Group’s brand values and contribute to creating inspiring and functional interiors for residential and commercial spaces.
Qualifications
Demonstrated strength in Customer Service, with the ability to build rapport, understand client requirements, and provide consultative support throughout the sales process.
Proficiency in Interior Design and Space Planning, including basic knowledge of layouts, design principles, and aesthetics relevant to residential and commercial interiors.
Solid Sales capabilities, with experience in retail or real estate sales, lead management, negotiation, and closing deals to meet or exceed targets.
Knowledge of Furniture products, finishes, and materials, and the ability to recommend suitable options based on functionality, style, and budget.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain design concepts clearly and professionally to diverse customers.
Good organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple customer engagements simultaneously.
Basic proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools; familiarity with design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp) is an advantage.
