Role Description The Security Guard role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. The Security Guard will be responsible for monitoring premises, controlling access points, conducting regular patrols, and reporting any suspicious activities or security incidents. Daily tasks include checking identification, maintaining visitor logs, ensuring compliance with security procedures, and safeguarding company and client property. The role also involves assisting visitors and employees with directions, responding to emergencies according to established protocols, and coordinating with supervisors or law enforcement when required. Security Guards are expected to maintain a professional appearance, follow company guidelines, and contribute to a safe and orderly environment at all times.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Skills and Customer Service abilities to interact respectfully with clients, visitors, and staff.
Candidates should possess Physical Security skills, including facility patrol, access control, and incident monitoring.
Candidates should possess Personnel Security and Private Security skills related to protecting individuals, enforcing security policies, and maintaining confidentiality.
Prior experience as a Security Guard or in a similar role is preferred, along with familiarity with basic security equipment (CCTV, access control systems, radios).
Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, remain alert, and respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; security training certification or relevant licensing is an advantage.
Strong observation skills, reliability, and willingness to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
