Role Description
This is a full-time Business Analyst role based in Gurugram. The Business Analyst will work closely with internal teams and clients to understand business needs, capture and refine requirements, and translate them into clear specifications for the Onlygood platform. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing client data and workflows, mapping and improving business processes, preparing functional documentation, and supporting configuration of dashboards and reports. The role involves collaborating with product and technology teams, participating in client meetings and presentations, and ensuring that solutions align with sustainability, ESG, and carbon reporting objectives.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage ESG data onboarding for client organizations, ensuring accurate migration and standardization across platforms
• Collect, validate, and reconcile GHG, energy, water, waste, procurement & supplier data to maintain high-quality ESG datasets
• Support Scope 1, 2 & 3 emissions calculation, data mapping, and cross-plant harmonization using recognized standards
• Provide platform training and functional support to client teams and suppliers for smoother adoption and engagement
• Develop insights basis client data and present to the client leadership
• Develop relationship with the key stakeholders and drive value creation
Qualifications
Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, economics, data science, or a related field.
1 to 4 years of experience
Strong Analytical Skills for interpreting data, identifying trends, and deriving actionable insights.
Business Analysis and Business Requirements skills for gathering, documenting, and validating client needs and translating them into solution specifications.
Skills for mapping, evaluating, and optimizing workflows related to sustainability, ESG, and operational performance.
Strong spoken communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement, clear documentation, and collaborative work across cross-functional teams.
Experience in SaaS, data analytics, ESG, sustainability, or carbon accounting is highly beneficial.
Proficiency with spreadsheets, data visualization tools, and basic analytics techniques.
Knowledge of Product Analysis is a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and maintain attention to detail.
