Role Description The Security Officer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Jaipur. The Security Officer will be responsible for monitoring entrances and exits, patrolling assigned areas, and ensuring adherence to security protocols to prevent unauthorized access and potential incidents. Daily tasks include checking identification or access credentials, supervising visitor and vehicle movement, and reporting any suspicious activity, safety hazards, or breaches to supervisors. The role involves maintaining accurate logs, incident reports, and shift records, as well as responding calmly and efficiently to emergencies such as fire alarms, medical situations, or disturbances. Security Officers are expected to maintain a professional appearance, provide courteous assistance to staff and visitors, and follow company policies, local regulations, and client-specific guidelines.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess basic security and safety knowledge, including understanding of access control, patrolling procedures, and emergency response practices.
Candidates should possess strong observation and reporting abilities, with attention to detail, situational awareness, and accurate record-keeping skills.
Candidates should possess effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with clients, visitors, and team members.
Candidates should possess physical fitness and the ability to stand, walk, and perform patrols for extended periods, including responding quickly during incidents.
Candidates should possess integrity, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility, with willingness to follow instructions and uphold confidentiality.
Prior experience in security, defense, or law enforcement is beneficial but not mandatory.
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred; additional security training or certification is an advantage.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as per site requirements.
