System Analyst

Role Description The System Analyst role at Innovative Code Lab is a full-time remote position responsible for analyzing, designing, and improving software systems that support client requirements and internal operations. Day-to-day tasks include gathering and documenting business and technical requirements, translating them into system specifications, and collaborating closely with developers, project managers, and stakeholders. The System Analyst will assess existing systems and workflows, identify gaps or inefficiencies, and recommend solutions to enhance performance, reliability, and scalability. This role also involves troubleshooting system issues, supporting testing and validation activities, and ensuring that delivered solutions align with business objectives and user needs. The successful candidate will work independently and within distributed teams, using clear communication and structured analysis to guide projects from concept through implementation.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Systems Analysis skills, including requirements gathering, process modeling, and translating business needs into technical specifications.
Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills for problem-solving, data interpretation, and evaluating system performance and risks.
Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Information Technology, including familiarity with software architectures, databases, APIs, and cloud-based environments.
Candidates should possess Business Analysis skills to understand stakeholder needs, document use cases, and support alignment between technology solutions and business goals.
Candidates should possess effective Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing system issues, identifying root causes, and coordinating resolution efforts.
Relevant qualifications include experience in software development or IT consulting environments, strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to collaborate in remote, cross-functional teams.
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, along with familiarity with agile methodologies and common project management tools.
